Aloysius! Democracy exists in the minds of those that created the
word. The art of governing people is simple. Keep the people stupid with
sound bytes and a docile and timid media, have two parties both look alike
(as in a mirror) doing the same thing and calling themselves liberal and the
other right orientated and then tax the people, spend recklessly on pet
projects like Star Wars that allow them to embezzle millions, help their ilk
in industry (scrub each other's backs) by contracting them on major projects
within and without the country and laugh at the stupid 95% of those they
govern. The poor and the dispossessed do not understand their situation and
can hardly change it.

Take the US Army for example. Most enlisted men come from poor,
uneducated and unemployable sections of the population. The army is similar
to a mouse trap where the cheese is inside and the mouse is compelled to
enter the arena hoping to enjoy a meal. This must have been so for Adam and
Eve who were led to eat the forbidden apple. If they were told not to eat the
snake and permitted a bite of the forbidden fruit, I am sure that they would
have feasted on snake meat.

But look at those that declare war. The C-in-C of the US forces never
went to the battlefront as a soldier. His promotion to his position of
authority was a single step. Win the US elections fraudulently and then wear
the crown of the C-in-C. This current crook in the White House is a smart
cookie. Bin Laden lives on Pennsylvania Avenue and has prompted the President
to get out of S. Arabia and attack his nemesis namely Sadaam Hussein. What is
democracy if it does not permit the Iraqis to appoint their own leader even
if he is a mullah whose ideas would be anathema to the Yanks. What the Iraqis
will choose could be worse than Sadaam. How is it possible to govern Arabs
who are diverse as Iraq is? The Shiites, Sunnis, Kurds, Turkomens and
Christians are very different from each other with patrons like the
Ayatollahs of Iran looking after the interests of the Shiites, the Turks
looking after the Turkomen and subjugating the Kurds who were a force to
reckon with once under Saladin. Time will tell how Iraq will be governed. I
suspect chaos will prevail.

Bush is a crooked man who speaks with a forked tongue. He speaks to
audiences of soldiers and children in schools which are well covered by the
media. Have you seen him ever on a campus like at Berkeley. He does not even
speak to his alumnus, Yale. The media is not there to criticise but to give
a biassed viewpoint by being embedded in all aspects of the US
administration. BTW embedded does not mean going to bed with. He is doomed to
fail in the next election walking in the steps of his father. His economic
policies will ruin America and the unemployment rate is climbing up slowly.
He will bankrupt the economy by disobeying the advice of key economists like
Allan Greenspan. The dollar has kept on sliding on a greasy pole and the
euphoria generated by this phoney war will come to haunt this fraudulent
Texan.

Ignorant people have short memories. They suffer from a form of amnesia
and they will react only when their bellies ache. Next year this fraud in
the Maison Blanche will come into the limelight when re-election will be
hotly debated. If the Democrats field an imbecile as their candidate, the
tenure of the President may be eronously determined and this will certainly
be dangerous for the US and the world. Imagine living in a graveyard what
once was a globe.

God Bless America and it's largesse which is plundered from the Third
World.

World.
