Dear Manohar Parrikar
Hon. Chief Minister of Goa

I have been noticing many committee members in various Dept's of Govt of
Goa especially GCZMA, Goa Biodiversity Board , Goa Forest Dept, Goa State
Pollution Control Board, Health, Tourism, RTO, Traffic, CCP, GSIDC, GTDC
and other Dept/Boards which are under your control are been paid
exorbitant fees or some allowances/remuneration by these Boards/Dept for
attending meetings and site inspection and that these fees are been further
increased every time by the demand from the members. There are few members
who do not demand or receive these emoluments while others are greedy and
wants it to further increase. If these members are only interested for
money sake and not doing proper job they should desist becoming members or
taken out from the pay roll. If they are retired probably a fixed amount
may be calculated by the Govt to take care of their TA/DA or make
arrangements for their travel from their particular department. Others who
are on Govt. job need not be paid anything but they can be deputed by their
own organisation/Institution whether it is a Central or State Dept. by
giving them TA/DA officially. If this is implemented than a proper
coordination and unaccountably will be made or else nobody will know where
this money goes after all they are from the public funds. I have seen many
members gets different amount from different Dept without the receipt.
Moreover some of them are members in many Boards and Corporations. If they
are paying Income Tax , a PAN Card number may be obtained or recorded in
each payment. I understand that there are no proper approvals from the
Government for a fixed and equal amount.
Chief Minister or the Chief Secretary is bound to look into these
discrepancies and issue a Govt. order for all the department for equality
of payment based on schedule work and time.
