(Dukors=swine-nay bloody swine!)

SORRY YOU SELF RIGHTEOUS B8STAR*S, but this is not acceptable! What are the
editors doing on Goanet Digest? Playing the wall flower? Keeping it cool?
Watching the show?

The VERY FIRST THREE postings of this issue 444 are about this dukor
bullshit. There is neither any content in it nor any valid opinion, nor any
reference to the on going political election issue, save that someone
happens to be in the frey, but only a barrage of bad mouthing and
opinionated self assertion. There is nothing civil in all this sort of
infuriated provocation... see, and forums (public) like this with a close
editorial check as I have experienced MUST not allow this kind of garbage on
the net? It is sad that the editors let postings like "*** should not be on
Goanet" etc. see the light of the day, where as some quite intellectually
provocative texts are rejected. Why? Because they are not written by
Catholics or Christians? We are bloody hypocrites who only pretend to be
intellectually honest. It just takes one insignificant post from some
inconsequential SOB to make all rally against the the man , who in all good
faith, suggested that Manohar Parrikar was not a fanatic. That is all! What
does it mean by Jove? Does that mean we preach democracy and pretend and
believe that we are democrats but when a fellow democrat voices his opinion
in all good faith, especially because Parricar seems to be a personal IIT
mate of Dr. Carmo, we go tong and hammer at him? Shame!!
As for the post itself by Dr. Carmo, I value it- not as a political
statement or a statement in favor of a political figure, but as a support of
a friend to another, from one Goan to another, whom he happens to know
personally, irrespective of religeous connotations and party agenda to which
the latter belongs for technical reasons. As a person, I am sure, that Mr.
Parricar values and cherishes his catholic friends as much as his Hindu
friends. Goa, ask me you rabble, is such a place where Hindus and Christians
have lived like brothers for the last five centuries. ( ONLY!) I myself have
had my catholic friends coming to my aid before my Hindu friends. And I know
cases where Hindus have helped their Christian neighbors and friends. This
used to be the case of Lahore and lucknow- the two areas in India apart from
Bengal and Hyderabad, where Hindu-Muslim co-mingling was exemplary and
sinquanon. This is, the multi-racial co-existence of peoples is, possible
ONLY IN INDIA as proven by (NON-WIKI) statistics over a consistent period of
time. Do not let this quality-this genius which India has inculcated in us.
Do not be blinded by a harmless statement and be unnecessarily provoked to
the extent that you start calling your own brethren DUKORS! It does not harm
anyone in the areas where words are just words -meaningless sounds to be
used for a temporary flourish of a vital out burst, but there are those who
know the harm that words CAN do. Words can be curses. They spread chaos and
ill-will among people. Nations can become lethargic and un-motivated because
of curses in the hearts of its people. Words are dangerous. Words are for
man, the thinker's use. Use them carefully, because whether I like it or
not, YOU can think. (If you try that is!)
Obrigad,
Charudatta.

RESPONSE: Now it all makes sense ! I was able to influence the outcome
of the Elections in Goa; especially the one in Navelim...Churchill,
owes me big time ? Please pass on this message to him..someone out

I had told my friend, the scribe V.F. before: The pen is mightier than

Faleiro.

Regarding Carmo, I don't think any one cares that he supported
BJP/Parrikar...each to his own. What irked many is that, just because
one disagreed with his line of ideology, he felt the need to bring in
personal abuse, of a gutter kind.

Similarly, no one cared that Aires Rod supported the BJP/Parrikar; in
fact no one took violent issue, with Aires's stance ! I was even
concerned, that I requested People check up on him, to find out that
he was alright.

You clearly are unable to distinguish between the message being sent and the subject line that does not necessarily have to change each time a reply is sent to a post.

Firstly, in referring to me, you have got it completely wrong in attributing, wittingly or unwittingly, a subject heading to me in a reply to a post where the original subject heading was unchanged for reasons of linkage. When are you going to wake up?

Secondly, the moderators of any site have a formidable task monitoring a huge number of posts at any given time. They simply can't keep sending back problematic posts for change/correction (as you seem to expect) as a normal part of their role. Also, mistakes from their end can and will happen. Two recent illustrations of this are the poorly judged "dukor" post from Carmo and the pathetic disclosure of private mail by professor Teotonio de Souza on to a public forum. However, there is a major onus on those sending in mail to monitor themselves and I am not too sure you are being that meticulous and rigorous in this respect yourself.

happens to be in the frey, but only a barrage of bad mouthing and
opinionated self assertion.

RESPONSE: Now it all makes sense ! I was able to influence the outcome
of the Elections in Goa; especially the one in Navelim...Churchill,
owes me big time ? Please pass on this message to him..someone out
there.

I had told my friend, the scribe V.F. before: The pen is mightier than
the sword, so my friend can take most of the credit for the ouster of

Catholic Goans would vote anyone in irrespective of Caste or Religion.
What frightens Catholic Goans, is the thought of being nailed to the
floor for good, assurances given notwithstanding; as in the case of
once bitten twice shy.

Obrigad,
Charudatta.
P.S. From now on I am going to sign my posts as David Padmashri Angelo.
Because just the sound of a christian name may have effect upon the lot-
like does Gabe/London England/U.K./Europe/Etc Etc Etc....
RESPONSE: Now it all makes sense ! I was able to influence the outcome
of the Elections in Goa; especially the one in Navelim...Churchill,
owes me big time ? Please pass on this message to him..someone out
there.

I had told my friend, the scribe V.F. before: The pen is mightier than
the sword, so my friend can take most of the credit for the ouster of

Catholic Goans would vote anyone in irrespective of Caste or Religion.
What frightens Catholic Goans, is the thought of being nailed to the
floor for good, assurances given notwithstanding; as in the case of
once bitten twice shy.

Obrigad,
Charudatta.
