On this very interesting thread, Mr J C Colaco wrote the following:

"Dear Mr. Aires Rodrigues,

I canNOT believe what you have posted UNTIL it is cleared by o senhor
Anvilio de Sa, the self proclaimed Goebbel of Inglaterra."

Response:

I have been away from Goanet for the last three weeks or so as was away
visiting USA and enjoying a cruise to Alaska. On my return, I found that
not only J C Colaco but also the new standard bearer of everything ethical
in Goan polity and sole protector of minority rights, Soter, have been
goading me and other Parrikar supporters for comment on various issues
since "Parivartan' is has occurred and is occurring in Goa as I write.

Firstly, I will make a couple of points on Pandurand Nadkarni affair:

It is good for public life that Shri Nadkarni has withdrawn his candidature.

Parrikar has stated that the charges made against him re. falsification of
bio-data were without any basis or words to that effect and I am happy to
accept that at face value. I am sure Aires (and I am really pleased that
Shri J C Colaco has stopped calling him High-risk) will most certainly
pursue his FIR and get the truth out.

Aires's disclosure that Shri Nadkarni had failed SSC at first attempt was
un-necessary as well as despicable. I am sure Aires has had a few failures
in his life that he would not like disclosed on a public forum. When I
cleared my part one of FRCS, the gentleman who was the president of the
Royal college was known to have failed part one examination fourteen times.
John Major who was prime minister of UK in the 1990s, just had three
'o'levels, i.e. pass in three subjects at SSC level eamination. This would
be severe failure in India. He then acquired pass in three more subjects
externally at "o' levels(SSC). Alan Johnson, a minister fro higher
education at one time had not studied beyond SSC equivalent 'O' levels
before starting work as a postman and never studied beyond that. Both of
them held some of the highest public offices such as Home, Finance, Health,
Foreign affairs etc and were well known for their competence.
Shri Nadkarni had done post graduation in Arts as well as education
following his early failure. He should be commended for it and not berated
but then again, on a catholic dominated forum, just as Anvill De sa of
Angleterra passes as fun and not abuse, making derogatory remarks about a
Hindu should earn Aires some browny points at least.

Second point is that according to Aires, Shri Nadkarni was denied the post
of the Director of education in 1995 by Pratapsingh Rane. That tells me
that his name was considered for such a high ranking post. Does it say
anywhere in the rules for the appointment of RTI commissioner that he/she
should not have been denied any govt post?

Over the years, Aires has won admiration of a number of Goans including
myself for taking up cases of corruption, poor governance etc. His
integrity was undermined after he withdrew from a well reported criminal
case. I for one would support him whenever he exposes wrong doings by this
or any government but when he calls induction of Alina prior to election
'illegal' without showing us when the 'code of conduct' was incorporated
into Indian law or citing 'case law' or when he calls Parrikar's actions
'despotic' he is not just OTT but in danger of being labelled a disgruntled
ex-party man.

So Aires, here is an open invitation.

Justify your comments by answering this post.
For Shri Colaco, a simple request. I think you are a Paediatrician. You
therefore deal with a lot of babies. Please stop using this baby talk in
your posts and twisting my name. These childish tricks will not get you
anywhere.

BTW, it was Shri Colaco who implied that I was Goebbels when I mistakenly
accepted a news about IFFI dates on Goa 365 or some such news channel and
wrote about it on Goanet, I believe. I cannot locate that post from March
of this year but some internet savvy goanetter might be able to help me.
Incidentally, Marshall Mendoza called Santosh Helekar Goebbels as well and
a prominent Kangressman called Modi Goebbels. I am in good company.

Aires bab,
You get questions on the nadd korneo in governance three weeks after you have moved on to other expositions of Parivarturn and Parivartwist. It is like striking iron when it has gone cold.
It is not fashionable to persecute the parivartanists when in Government? They are not involved in religious conversion or hoarding money in Swiss Bank except parivartan and palttivaran in the best interest of Goa and the nation. It is fashionable, at least till 2014, to invest time in digging out the history and Swiss bank accounts of Sonia Maino and the academic history and relationships of Rahul Gandhi. Then you will be doing great service to bringing about that parivartan. The parivartanist regime can do no wrong as it is the purest form of government in Bharat. You may even be awarded the Parivartan chakra as long as you restrict yourself to exposing Kantaks and Digus.

Dear Dr. Anil Desai,

Allow me please, dear Sir, to state the following point and question in preface:

a: I do not know the Shri J C Colaco that you write about.

b: Are you suggesting/confirming that you are "o senhor Anvilio de Sa,
the self proclaimed Goebbel of Inglaterra"?

Apart from that, I can only speak for myself ....thus:

your posts and twisting my name.

Apart from that, I can only speak for myself ....thus:

c: High Risk is High Risk when he is High Risk.

d: I agree with you. (As I have stated before), the disclosure that
Mr. Nadkarni had failed to clear SSC at his first attempt - was
totally unnecessary....and IF I may add ....petty.

Now .... I declare you the winner of this debate.

So, unless you "open the door", I will have 'Nada Mais" to write about it.

Thank you very kindly.
