The issue is not whether the Pope should apologise or not, the issue is
whether he DID apologise as claimed by senhor Parrikar.

Parrikar should know, because he was part of the clique that wanted the Pope
to apologise. The Pope did NOT apologise.

The Hindus did not need an apology for the Inquisition. They were not a
party to it. The horrendous Inquisition was directed against the CATHOLICS
that did not conform to the standards of those nuts who ruled the Roman
Catholic Church then. The Syrian christians and others were the sufferers in
most cases, not hindus. Why should the Pope apologise to those who were not
wronged??
