guests among visitors who visited this village just outside Panjim.
Officials said food inspectors went to the house where the party was
hosted, but they could not get any samples as the food was already

CONTAMINATED ICE-CANDY AFFECTS SIX: Including five children
attending 'balwadis' (government-run nurseries) have been admitted
to hospital for jaundice, after consuming a local ice-fruit commonly

ILLEGAL SCRAP YARDS: Believe it or not, there exist 21 scrap yards
in the Mapusa municipal area. Most of these are owned by outsiders,
who have encroached on thousands of square metres of privately owned

edible oils etc, came to Goa looking for a larger office space and
better tax exemptions in 1998. But citing a workers' strike and
pointing out that its 100% deduction has gone down to 30%, the plant

Nirmala Sawant said she would stake her claim for a party ticket

PAPAYA PUDDING: Remove seeds and rind of a ripe papaya. Cut into thick
slices and boil in a little water, till tender. Mash up the boiled papaya
and put it back in the same water, add 1/2 cup sugar, 1 cup milk or coconut
juice. Keep on fire and boil, stirring well. Mix 1 cup of flour in a little
water, remove all lumps, then add to the papaya mixture. Stir and cook till
thick. When sufficiently thick, put in a buttered dish and cool.

PAPAYA PUDDING: Remove seeds and rind of a ripe papaya. Cut into thick
slices and boil in a little water, till tender. Mash up the boiled papaya
and put it back in the same water, add 1/2 cup sugar, 1 cup milk or coconut
juice. Keep on fire and boil, stirring well. Mix 1 cup of flour in a little
water, remove all lumps, then add to the papaya mixture. Stir and cook till
thick. When sufficiently thick, put in a buttered dish and cool.

PAPAYA PUDDING: Remove seeds and rind of a ripe papaya. Cut into thick
slices and boil in a little water, till tender. Mash up the boiled papaya
and put it back in the same water, add 1/2 cup sugar, 1 cup milk or coconut
juice. Keep on fire and boil, stirring well. Mix 1 cup of flour in a little
water, remove all lumps, then add to the papaya mixture. Stir and cook till
thick. When sufficiently thick, put in a buttered dish and cool.

PAPAYA PUDDING: Remove seeds and rind of a ripe papaya. Cut into thick
slices and boil in a little water, till tender. Mash up the boiled papaya
and put it back in the same water, add 1/2 cup sugar, 1 cup milk or coconut
juice. Keep on fire and boil, stirring well. Mix 1 cup of flour in a little
water, remove all lumps, then add to the papaya mixture. Stir and cook till
thick. When sufficiently thick, put in a buttered dish and cool.
