BICHOLIM, JAN 26 - A wide array of Khadi products were showcased in
the 15 stalls at the five-day exhibition-cum-sale, organised by Khadi
and Village Industries Board Goa (KVIB), at the Hirabai Zantye
Memorial Hall, here.
Bicholim Mayor Satish Gaonkar inaugurated the exhibition and in his
address, urged the Khadi artisans to remain honest and faithful to
their business.
KVIB Chairperson and Bicholim MLA Rajesh Patnekar, who was also
present at the exhibition, detailed the procedures regarding KVIB loan
disbursement and advised the unemployed youth to avail of these
benefits.
KVIB directors Suresh Falari, Rajan Kadkade and Chandan Parab were
also present at the inaugural function.
